The Lee County Government Liaison Committee (LCGC) is a long-running monthly roundtable hosted by the Lee Building Industry Association. Started more than 27 years ago and chaired by Dan Beiter of Cypress Bay Development, it gives Lee BIA members a direct line to Lee County and municipal building officials and the Health Department on current code, permitting, and day-to-day operating issues.
Who Attends
Building officials from Lee County, the City of Fort Myers, the City of Cape Coral, the City of Bonita Springs, and the Village of Estero attend, along with the Health Department. Lee BIA encourages any member affected by building and health department policies to participate.
